Hey there!! I’m currently running a promotion on Amazon for my new short story, Iron Blood. It will run from 15th July-18th July. This is to encourage a few folks to give it a read and also take a look at my other published works as well. 🙂
Right now, I’m working hard on Oath of God (OoG) and research on Japanese architecture is taking up a lot of time. The significance of gates in Japanese culture, at shrines, temples, and castles is an interesting topic. Not to mention the different types of gates and how they relate to the status and grandeur of the buildings. There is so much to learn and while not all of my research will be glaringly obvious in the book, it will all help to enrich the overall tapestry of the story and to help with the overall aspect of worldbuilding.
I’m really pleased with the outcome of the free giveaway for Vastian Lore and three lucky people will soon recieve their signed copies.
I’ve got around 40,000 words to finish on OoG and the round of editing, proofreading and re-writes to go through. My plan of a Summer release may not be possible, but OoG WILL be finished and published before the end of the year. That’s all I can say, for now.
My second novel: Wolf Born, has been shoved so far back that it’s a distant haze in my mind and all work has stalled on that story. I had hoped to complete and publish by the end of this year, but it will be 2017 before this book will be published. Apologies to anyone who looking forward to reading more about Norarl and perhaps finding out more about the world from Vastian Lore. Novels are tricky, at least I’ve found that to be the case. Plus, I want the stories to be as good (GREAT) as I can make them! 🙂
Thanks for reading.
As always, comments are welcome…
